after waiting waiting waiting endless waiting and even more waiting we can finally provide new infumation here folks. woody and fumakilla are back from the dead with a record "from hell". well, not really ;) although this ep would fit easily into his set. this time its all about another munich er, incredibly talented lars sommerfeld whos already known for his own blend of fresh minmalism combining upfront soundbites and tricky disco snipplets on richard bartz´ kurbel records. this time he takes it further though. while track a hell´s kitchen and casio rox are stiill straight forward pitched discotech and bassaction as you know n eat it day/nite and which would already be enough for many labels to make it happen conters ls with beat rock the whole scenario with a somewhat romanthonyesque /fat boy slimish folkrock spoken word guitar thumper that results in nothing but an incredibly sexy, sick and unexpected hands up in the air sun come out paranoiatrack of the highest caliber.this even more when woody , yes finally, does his own forceful concentraded and intensely stripped down bodyrockfunkremixaction thang over the top that is pretty much taking care of business if you know what we mean. beat-rock-non sto(ck) p !! Baby, das wird ein verdammt heißer Herbst!. Die neue Maxi auf Fumakilla bringt gleichsam einen neuen Fuma-Act an den Start. Lars Sommerfeld feiert hier sein Fumakilla-Debüt und macht da weiter, wo er mit seinem Release auf Richard Bartz\' "Kurbel" Label augehört hat. Out of Hildesheim gibt es nun gleich drei Slammer und einem von Meister Woody handgedrehten Remix. Mit "Hell\'s Kitchen" heizt er uns gleich zu Begin mit technoiden Disko-Bässen höllisch ein. "Beat Rock Two" verbindet rockige Gitarren-Loops und sommerlich-lauen Blues. Mit "Casio Rox" gibt es einen feinen Club-Phunker und damit seinen soliden Abgang, doch Feierabend ist erst, wenn ihr die gewaltigen Breaks im Zeh gespürt habt. Yammy yeah!" DE:BUG (GER) review 2003: "Klar, hier wird gebrettert. Mit knarzigen Basslines und viel skurrilem Raveappeal. Das macht Spass und zeigt irgendwie auch eine neue Richtung für Fumakilla an. Denn obwohl es da immer schon Ravebretter gab, war selten etwas so sehr im Flow der Zeit und in einem Sound, an dem sich, wie auch hier, so viele versuchen. Dennoch eine EP die mit seinen 4 Oldschooltracks perfekt passt und genug Hands In The Air Stimmung verbreitet, dass man sie wohl zurecht oft genug zu hören bekommen wird. "
